How to Contribute

Anyone can read the wiki. Editing works in steps so that nothing about a health claim goes live without a second person checking it.

  1. Suggest a correction. Open an issue on GitHub with the page, the claim, and a PubMed or DOI link. Please don't include your own health details.

  2. Become a contributor. After a few accepted suggestions, an editor can invite you. Sign-in uses an emailed link; accounts are invite-only. Contributors draft in the private Submissions collection and can comment on public pages.

  3. Review and publish. Editors check each draft against the sources and the Evidence Levels rules. A change to any health claim, dose or interaction needs an editor other than the author before it is moved into a public section.

Rules for every page:

  • Start from the Article Template page. Keep it short, neutral and sourced.

  • Every claim needs a PubMed, DOI or NIH link. Unsourced claims are removed.

  • Report what studies did and found. No "you should", no recommended doses, timing or protocols.

  • Prefer systematic reviews, meta-analyses and large trials. Label single small trials and animal studies as such.

  • No affiliate links, product promotion or copied text. Declare any conflict of interest.

  • Contributions are licensed CC BY-SA 4.0.
